Castell Son Claret

The Castell Son Claret is located just outside the village of Calvia, at the foot of the UNESCO World Heritage listed La Tramuntana mountain range. Surrounded by gardens and the fragrance of bergamot, grapefruit, orange, rose and jasmine, the castle, dating back to 1888, was carefully restored and opened as a luxury hotel in 2013. The estate founded in 1450 is comprised of seven listed buildings and two new houses constructed taking care to respect local heritage and architecture traditions. 20 rooms and suites can be found in the former stables of the castle many of them with private garden or pool. Typical Mediterranean dishes are served throughout the day made from local ingredients at the Olivera Restaurant on the terrace or in the dining room.
