Castello Di Guarene

This beautiful 18^th century palace occupies a privileged position on a Unesco World Heritage Site in the hills of Langhe, Roero and Monferrato in the heart of the wine growing areas of Piedmont. In 2014 the castle has been inaugurated as a hotel and is part of the Relais & Chateaux group since 2016. Perfectly preserved over the years along with all of its works of art the palace features 12 rooms and suites decorated with original pieces of furniture from the castle itself and with some items from the private collection of the new owners, Mr Artusio and Mr. Gallo A private visit can be made through the original rooms of the castle full of antiques, portraits, colourful tapestries, paintings and frescoes. Visit the dining room of the family Roero, the original owners, their bedrooms, the sumptuous Hall of Honour with its spectacular chandelier realized in Murano glass. Another unique experience is the visit to the library where precious manuscripts, books and texts collected over several centuries are kept. Relax at the Wellness Centre and take a dip in the indoor swimming pool, entirely excavated in the rocks. Best Gastronomy : acting executive Chef Martin Lazarov perpetuates the gastronomic tradition of Langhe and Roero using natural ingredients and sheer creativity paired with local vines. A special menu with white truffle of Alba can be enjoyed when the precious product is in season.
