This beautiful five star hotel dates back to the 1950’s when the original hotel opened its doors for business. This was the place for local society to meet and celebrate where many Spanish and international celebrities alike stayed whilst on the island. In 2002 the hotel opened its doors once again after a splendid remodeling by Hospes Design. The overall number of rooms in the old building was reduced to 29 and the façade was opened up to improve views of the sea. The Mallorca style in a combination of stone and sandstone is present in the arches surrounding the pool. Light is everywhere in the building with marble floors and stone on the walls in a minimalist style. The new wing of the hotel was added in 2008 featuring 22 rooms and the Bodyna Wellness area. All the new rooms have private plunge pools and a terrace or small private garden. Best Gastronomy : Maricel Restaurant is in a spectacular location right on the seafront. Signature rice dishes, seafood and meats including a fabulous boneless glazed suckling pig with crispy skin and vanilla oil are served in the restaurant. The gourmet food is paired with the best wines from the islands. Breakfast at the hotel is more than just the first meal of the day and becomes a totally innovative culinary experience. Food critics have awarded unanimously the prize of the “Best breakfast in the World”.
