The Bannister hotel is set inside the Puerto Bahia Marina, on the south of the Samana peninsula in a region offering natural diversity with beautiful beaches, national parks and marine sanctuaries. The hotel is named after the Joseph Bannister, an English pirate, captain of the Golden Fleece, who defeated two British frigates in 1686.
