The Oitavos

The luxurious five star Oitavos is set alongside the Sintra Mountains just 20 minutes west of Lisbon within the Quinta da Marinha sporting estate boasting a leading equestrian center and the Oitavos Dunes Links Golf. Overlooking the protected sand dunes, the Atlantic coast and its beaches, the hotel is a truly remarkable place for travelers in search of nature and sport. Its contemporary design blends perfectly with the natural environment decorated with contemporary sculpture and paintings by Portuguese artists. All the guest rooms have sunny private balconies with views of the Atlantic Ocean or the golf course. The Oitavos has four dining areas including the Ipyslon Restaurant, The Atlantic Pool Bar, Japanese Bar and Verbasco overseen by French born Chef Cyril Devilliers. The Spa at The Oitavos takes inspiration from the nature outside offering treatments from the Spa brand Carol Joy London. The treatment rooms all have natural light and panoramic windows looking out onto the natural sand dunes and the ocean beyond. Best Golf: designed in 2001 by the american architect Arthur Hills, the Oitavos Dunes is considered to be one of the finest and best golf courses in the world. 18 holes, Par 71, 6303 meters, this award winning course was created in respect to the environmental and natural sand dunes in which it sits.
