Satri House is set in a quiet neighborhood of the UNESCO World heritage town of Luang Prabang. The town is famous for its outstanding Lao traditional architecture combined with 19th and 20th century colonial style buildings together with its many Buddhist temples. Two beautiful interconnected French colonial houses make up the hotel. The original house was built in 1904 by the parents of Prince Souphanouvong. The young prince, who later became the first President of the People’s Republic of Laos, spent most of his childhood years. The Satri House restaurant is decorated in traditional Colonial style and features a full range of Laotian cuisine using local produce and fish from the nearby Mekong River. All day dining, a kids menu and European cuisine are also featured in an open air concept dining overlooking the gardens. Indulge in a soothing massage at the hotel’s Spa where all the treatments begin with a luxurious lemongrass and lime infused foot bath. Relax by the pool shaded by Tamarind trees.
