The Pantheon Iconic Rome Hotel is located in the heart of the Eternal City in the shadows of the Pantheon itself. Newly opened in April 2018, the hotel has been designed by Marco Piva using geometry, light and building materials inspired by the historic Pantheon. Circular motifs, marble and brass have been incorporated prominently throughout the hotel. The guest rooms and suites are decorated with original works of art, luxurious upholstery and every room features a glass display case showcasing the local events and happenings with a rotating selection of concordant items. The highlight of the hotel is the Divinity Terrace Lounge Bar on the rooftop with panoramic views over seven domes and some of the most historic landmarks of the city. A dedicated breakfast area with indoor and outdoor seating offers the most breathtaking setting for the first meal of the day. The hotel’s gourmet restaurant opens later this year and the chef is busy creating an eclectic seasonal menu that combines the best of local produce with a touch of Roman and regional flavors. Celebrations : Christmas is a favorite period to spend time in Rome. Admire the Christmas tree in Saint Peter’s square, attend a free concert in one of the beautiful churches, wander around the Christmas markets and head to the Vatican for the famous “Urbi et Orbi” blessing from the Pope on Christmas Day.
