Gallery Park Hotel & Spa

The Gallery Park Hotel & Spa is housed in a 19th century UNESCO World Heritage building in the historical part of Riga. In 2009 the Hotel opened after full restoration and the interiors resemble a palatial ambience with the walls of the lounge decorated with gold embossed leather, the original woodwork on the ceilings, the 100 years old Persian carpets decorating the reception area and the beautifully decorated floor of the Gallery Vinoteka so characteristic of 19th century Riga. The rooms on the 2nd and 3rd floor feature antique 19th century original French furniture in a Napoleon III style and the 4th floor is designed in a fully contemporary style and rooms have rooftop windows with sky & star view. Restaurant Renomme, Gallery Bar Vintoteka has been voted for several years “The Top 10 best restaurants of Europe” It features the finest Latvian modern cuisine in town using the freshest seasonal local products. Celebrations: On the 18th November 2018 Latvia celebrates a 100 years since it became an independent state. A full program of events and festivities has been organised including the Staro Riga Light Festival when Riga’s buildings, squares, bridges and monuments are brought to life by talented visual artists. The Riga Christmas market opens on the 1st December with its traditional stalls, scent of gingerbread and mulled wine and the New Year’s Eve fireworks will be spectacular this centenary year.
