The Albatroz

The Albatroz hotel is set in the village of Cascais, in a spectacular location on the cliffs just a 30-minute drive from the center of Lisbon. The hotel is spread over three buildings one of which was the Palace of the Duke of Loulé, dating back to 1873 and the other the Albatroz Palace, the house of D. Antonio of Lancastre. Many have prime views of the sea. The hotel offers a variety of meeting rooms in the Palace with its chandeliers, wooden staircases and azulejos and also in the new wing. Many have beautiful beach or sea views. The best place to relax during the day is on the terrace by the swimming pool overlooking the bay with a view that stretches from the Estoril Coast to the Marina. Eat breakfast by the sea, enjoy a light lunch during the day or sip a cocktail at the Panoramic Bar on the terrace. Best Gastronomy: the hotel’s main restaurant is in the best location of the Lisbon Coast with a panoramic view over the beaches and Bay of Estoril. A degustation menu proposes the very best in seafood and fresh fish in a selection of the Chef’s finest dishes in innovative Mediterranean fusion cuisine every evening.  Watch and learn in cooking classes organized by the Chef who shares some of his cooking tricks and tips.
