The hotel is housed in an iconic 19th century building, formerly the headquarters of the Cotton Textile Foundation, and displays its charms through an elaborate setting of decorative elements, furniture and fabrics from different periods interplaying with light effects creating brightness, shadows and transparency. In 2015 the building was totally refurbished to become a five-star hotel. Essential architectural elements of the building have been conserved, such as the famous spiral staircase built in 1957. The hotel offers 78 refined, comfortable rooms and five spacious suites. Even though the decoration varies, the inspiration remains the same: a chromatic combination of black and white associated with the sepia of the cotton plant.
