Jacob & Co. is venturing into high-end spirits. Creating a high-quality, limited edition whisky complements their jewelry and haute joaillerie creations, high watchmaking, and accessory lines, not to mention the construction of Dubai’s tallest residential tower: the Burj Binghatti Jacob & Co. The Jacob & Co. x Alec Monopoly Limited Edition Whisky will be one of the most exclusive whiskies recently introduced to the market. Only two thousand decanters of this finely crafted nectar will be available at a retail price of $2,750. The content is a blend of Scottish whiskies aged for at least 30 years.
The Jacob & Co. x Alec Monopoly Limited Edition Whisky originated in 2016 when the former Master Blender of Bowmore and Scottish whisky legend Andrew Rankin curated the best Scottish whiskies from first and second fill ex-bourbon American oak casks. The blend was then 26 years old and was immediately transferred to new American oak bourbon casks. Over the last four years, the blend has only improved with age, making the Jacob & Co. x Alec Monopoly Limited Edition Whisky a magnificent thirty-year-old blend. The decanter is a bespoke creation designed by Constellation X and co-signed by the urban artist Alec Monopoly. Born in New York, Alec Monopoly is a longtime friend of Jacob & Co. He adds his touch to the already existing complexity of the project, turning this whisky into a true creation of our time by adorning it with his colors and famous characters.
Decanter number 1 is a special creation, personally painted by Alec Monopoly. The artist has drawn on the bottle, the bottle holder, and the box, making it an artwork that will be presented at auctions. The Jacob & Co. x Alec Monopoly Limited Edition Whisky will be available through Constellation X and select retailers.
