Visionary new safari experience in Zambia’s Kafue National Park planned for 2025

The planned opening of Anantara Kafue River Tented Camp in early 2025 will plunge guests into the heart of Kafue National Park in central western Zambia. One of the largest reserves in all of Africa, covering a staggering 22,400 square kilometers, much of which remains largely unexplored and untouched, home to a fantastic diversity of majestic wildlife and birdlife. The new camp will be located around three hours’ drive from Victoria Falls or the capital Lusaka. A veritable haven suspended 3.5 meters above the ground, it guarantees unrestricted access to the bush and river. With just 12 spacious tents, including a 600-square-meter presidential villa offering unbridled exclusivity, the camp promises an intimate and exclusive retreat, embodying luxury in nature. The camp is bordered by two islands that will host a spa and wellness area with swimming pool, restaurant and bar, lounge and traditional African boma.
Anantara Kafue River Tented Camp will be an example of the group’s sustainable practices, an oasis where luxury harmonizes with nature. The resort will adopt environmentally-friendly features, from the exploitation of photovoltaic energy to the use of parabolic collectors and sustainable woods, ensuring a delicate balance between development and the preservation of the natural environment. Mark your calendars!
