In 2024, the Fairmont Le Manoir Richelieu proudly celebrates 125 years of splendour and history! 125 years between the sea and the mountains, where the gentle charm of Charlevoix nature is uniquely combined with the elegance of this historic resort. Boasting a rich tradition of hospitality, Le Manoir happily welcomes guests no matter the season. Starting in January, visitors can immerse themselves in this anniversary year by exploring the 125 ans d’Histoire exhibition space, located in the corridor behind the lobby. Originally installed for the resort’s 120th anniversary, the exhibition has taken a contemporary turn, in collaboration with Cité-Mémoire Charlevoix, by integrating augmented reality and short audio excerpts in twelve tableaux, allowing visitors to discover key moments in Le Manoir’s history. By scanning a QR code, holiday visitors are greeted by Cardinal Richelieu himself, who welcomes them to «his» Manoir and invites them to learn about its history. This year will be packed with activities and special offers, with a host of special 125th anniversary programming starting in early summer! Unique and exclusive products, developed in collaboration with various partners in the region, will be revealed and offered over the coming months to mark this very special year.
