The Château de Fonscolombe takes guests on a journey back in time in the heart of a place full of history. The property was built in about 1730 and has a particular architectural style. With its sumptuous facade characteristic of the Italian Quattrocento style, its row of balconies and high windows, the Château de Fonscolombes prefigures the Avant Renaissance period. It has kept the atmosphere of the epoch with the parquet floors, the chandeliers and the walls covered with Genoa leathers, the Provençal plaster ceilings and the wood panels carved by local craftsmen.  When guests take the great staircase they access the elegant suites of the Château whereas the other 37 rooms of different categories are housed in the next door building. Dedicated to the French way of life, Fonscolombe pays tribute to French gastronomy in its three restaurants which serve an authentic cuisine full of regional products.
