Running your most amazing 20 km in Paris

Paris offers many great running races throughout the year, but the 20km Paris Race is the most legendary one, taking you run across historical places of the world’s fashion capital whilst enjoying the party atmosphere by over 20 musical entertainment along the route. Launched in 1979 with a participation of 8000 runners, it attracts today 30 000 aficionados from all over the world. The relatively flat terrain of this race is opened to all levels. Whether you have a performance goal, - the competition is labelled FFA and IAAF , - or you simply want to spend a cheerful sporting moment with your family or friends, this race is made for you!  The 2019 race will take place on Sunday, October 13. AMAZING RACE You will start on the Iéna Bridge in front of the Eiffel Tower, then pass the Place de l’Alma towards the Arc de Triomphe,  have a refreshing run through the Bois de Boulogne and then join the right bank of the Seine up to the Pont Royal, passing by the Louvre and finish on the left bank with a splendid arrival at the foot of the Eiffel Tower. Unforgettable! Every year, the 20km race highlights a special theme before, during and after the run. The lucky runners of the 2019 edition will enjoy Gastronomy animation under the patronage of the famous chef Thierry Marx , who has more than ten marathons under his belt.

Paris born, Thierry Marx is one of the most recognized chefs of his generation for his innovative cuisine, environmental and social consciousness. Head chef since 2011 at the  Mandarin Oriental Paris, he there obtains 2 stars in the Michelin Guide  at Restaurant “Sur Mesure”. He also  opened several free vocational cooking schools and founded "Pass'sport to Employment" in association with Benoit Campargue, sports manager and coach of the French National Judo Team.  This non-profit school aims to reintegrate unemployed and unskilled men and women into the labor market.
